Techno Boffin 2015

What is the Techno Boffin you may ask. 

The Techno Boffin is a theory examination for the grade 11's held throughout the Overberg. They answer the examination electronically, the exams are sent to the school just before it starts and is then sent back to the Overberg Education Department's head office in Caledon. There it is marked by Mrs Goosen, the Subject Advisor for Computer Application Technology. This competition starts in Term 2, 7th May, there are 4 assessments and the final round was on the 5th November in Caledon. Damian and Christopher managed to stay on top throughout the competition, the final round gave them a score of 91% for Damian and 84% for Chris.  The final percentage is then calculated using their total year-mark for CAT.  We are very proud of these learners and also our other Grade 11's who made an incredible effort throughout the year. We wish them all the best for the November examinations.
