Long Weekend - Lunch @ Klipfontein

Breaking away from the normal routine, we decided to take the kids to Klipfontein Farm for a hike through a breath-taking kloof, a swim in the Rivier Sonder End and lunch at an odd little cottage on the banks of the river.

Rock Climbing on Sunday

Went Climbing in Montagu on Sunday. 7 kids were able to join. They were chosen on fitness level. Unfortunately we can only accomodate small groups at a time, but I aim to give everybody a chance who may be interested. Patience!

Swellendam Airshow

The Swellengrebel Aviation Club have done a fantastic job of hosting the largest airshow in the Western Cape for 2011. 15 learners joined myself and Ms. Amy.

Some of the highlights were:

• 2 X SAAF L-39's training jets
• SAAF Hawk fighter jet
• Pitt's Special acrobatics display
• Solo Silver Falcon acrobatics display
• Glider acrobatics display
• SAAF Augusta and Oryx fire fighting display
• ROBINSON R-22

Highly entertaining and a "must see" for next year.
