Working with the community at Masbiekers Valley.
Olyfkrans College has been involved in this wonderful for quite a few years. The valley is in the center. of Swellendam. Named after the slaves from Mozambique that found shelter there after being freed from slavery. Part of the project is to eradicate invasive plant species, rehabilitate the forest and reintroducing fynbos and indigenous trees.  During our planting day on the 1st of May, more than 200 trees and indigenous shrubs were planted.

Working in the Masbiekers Valley. Here we are part of a Tree Planting on the 1st May.
The boys are part of an environmental group that work in the valley on a regular basis. We plant indigenous trees, clear alien vegetation and build paths and recreation areas.
