Run run run!

Olyfkrans FC vs Young Lions FC

On Wednesday the 21st Olyfkrans Puma's faced the Young Lions FC.

It was an extremely exciting and fast paced game.  The lads have been working very hard on their fitness and toughness for these opponents.  Fortunately the sprinting and running with tractor tyres during practice sessions paid off in the end. We managed to kick some dust in their eyes and take a win home.  To anybody that plays in a team sport, 4-3 sounds like a tough one.  Trust me, it was!

Thank you to Khuselo Zazini and Charl Cromhout for leading the boys to victory.  And a special thank you to Keenan Mathebula who took one for team.

Soccer soccer soccer!

Olyfkrans College competes in the South African Football Association League.

We played against another League team from Suurbraak on the 3rd February and were beaten 4 -3.  What a game it was! During the week we train on Mondays and Wednesdays weather allowing. We will also have three under 17 learners joining a regional team later this term and they will compete in other regions.  Our team will also play against schools in Hermanus, Gansbaai and more.

We wish the boys luck and hope we will have success, lots of goals and zero injuries.
